As a new high school student, Ari is a greenhorn when it comes to both her school and the surrounding area. However, by a stroke of luck, she stumbled upon Sunnyside, the breakout indie band, performing an impromptu outdoor concert just before the semester started. Their captivating music instantly captured Ari’s interest, and to her delight, their frontman, Youta-kun, happens to attend the same school and be in her same grade and class. Despite Youta-kun being adored by many of the female students, who mistake his attention for romantic interest, he took a keen interest in Ari’s piano expertise and extended an offer for her to join Sunnyside as their new keyboardist.
