Upon stepping out of a pachinko parlor, Nanase Dai's presence ignites a desire within Kajio. He voices his longing, "I wish to kindle a romantic spark between us." Nanase portrays a different persona than his studious demeanor at the cram school, fascinating Kajio to the degree that he impulsively confesses his feelings. Unluckily, Nanase declines his advances.
