In response to escalating assaults from communist terrorists, Japan established a specialized security team with permission to employ deadly measures. Angel, the team's newest addition, wages war against the militant organization Red May. Inadvertently discovering a connection between Red May and the government, Angel and her peers become marked for death by three government-hired psychics known as "hunters." Alongside her partner, Raiden, who has received cybernetic enhancements, Angel must thwart the hunters' deadly agenda.
