Corin Cadence's brother disappeared into the Serpent Spire five years earlier. This enormous tower is notorious for its constantly shifting rooms, perilous traps, and monstrous enemies. Those who emerge from the spire triumphant are given an attunement, a mark that gives the bearer magical abilities. A fabled reward is waiting for the select few who make it to the tower's top and impress the goddess residing there. Sadly, Corin's brother never came back alive.
