At Futatsuzaka High School, Asahi yearns for a fresh start in a co-ed environment where the girls reign supreme, and the activities cater to their interests. She craves a trendy new persona but soon realizes that transforming her image is anything but easy. When she meets Maharu, a fiercely determined young girl, and discovers Naginata, an art form akin to the martial art kendo, she believes she's found the solution to her woes. Though she lacks athletic prowess, the promise of potential national recognition in Naginata drives her to give it her all. Asahi is hopeful that pursuing Naginata will unlock a new, improved version of herself.
