Due to Akihisa Hase's love for otaku culture, he was victimized by bullies until he moved to a different school with his father. While exploring the new campus, Akihisa discovered a copy of his favorite manga, engrossed in the story until he realized Yuu Onozuka was watching him with similar enthusiasm. Fortunately, Yuu proved to be a friendly ally rather than a foe, sparking a fast friendship. However, Akihisa was shocked when Yuu suddenly kissed him without any explanation, leaving him feeling bewildered.
