Under the Tokugawa shogunate, the top idols of the Shinsengumi brainwash the nation with their "Heaven's Songs," enabling the rulers to oppress the populace. Any act of writing or performing songs outside of the propaganda is considered a grave crime punishable by death. However, Ryouma Sakamoto and his fellow rockers rebel against this unjust system, using the power of rock 'n' roll to bring about a revolution for liberty and integrity.
