For over four centuries, the Iga and Kouga clans have been bitter enemies. Despite the Hanzo Hattori truce preventing all-out war, the rivalry persisted. With the dissolution of the truce by Shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa, a fight to the death between ten ninja from each clan will determine the next Tokugawa Shogun, with the victor ruling for a thousand years.
However, not all clan members are in support of this violent tradition. Oboro of the Iga clan and Gennosuke of the Kouga clan have fallen deeply in love, despite their families' feud. Forced to fight on opposing sides, their love is tested in the face of a centuries-old conflict. Will their love be enough to triumph over animosity, or will their fate be one of tragedy?
