The focus of this tale is Kasumi Kishimoto, a teenage student who takes center stage. Upon enrolling in Myōjō High School, she relocates to her aunt's boarding house and shares lodgings with four male classmates. Despite her loyalty to her distant boyfriend, Kasumi is caught off-guard when she realizes she has developed feelings for one of her housemates, Yūsaku.
