Unlike traditional schools that use standard exams to grade their students, Dokuritsu Tenjin Gakuen adopts a unique approach by ranking their pupils based on daily battles. Participants accumulate points based on their performance. Our story revolves around Hattori Kyousuke and Kujou Hachie, childhood buddies in this school. Kyousuke is an average student while Hachie, nicknamed Hachi, is the strongest freshman girl. Kyousuke made a pact with Hachi to defeat her and marry her. Failure to fulfill the pledge would mean condemning Hachi to an unwanted marriage with her eerie cousin. Can Kyousuke acquire the power necessary to keep the commitment?
