The novel Between the Sheets depicts the unique bond shared by Saki and Minako, who are almost always together. While Minako harbors strong romantic feelings for Saki, the latter is initially unaware of it. However, things take a turn when Minako decides to have sex with Saki's boyfriend, Ken, to see what Saki sees in him.
