The school's upcoming culture festival will feature an exciting new addition - an Idol performance, courtesy of the student council. Unfortunately, they lack the necessary funds to hire professionals, leaving the task of assembling a group to someone else. This duty falls upon Hirano Harufumi, who couldn't be less interested in the world of Idols. Nevertheless, if he doesn't put together a performance, he runs the risk of being expelled from school.
As expected, most of the female students are too self-conscious to dance and sing in revealing clothing in front of their peers. When Harufumi must consider who to recruit as an Idol, his mind goes to his cute and shy childhood friend, Aizawa Momoka. Despite her clumsiness, Harufumi believes she would be perfect for the role. But can he persuade her to take on the challenge before it's too late?
