In this retelling, the plot takes a different turn as the characters get to know each other in an alternate way. Sena, the school's most popular girl, catches wind of a conversation between Renka, a character from a visual novel, and Kodaka, a newcomer known for his rough demeanor and tendency to be misunderstood. Intrigued by Kodaka, Sena reaches out to him, seeking his assistance in making friends. This deviation from the original storyline, where Yozora turns to her imaginary friend for guidance and enlists Kodaka's help in improving her social skills, adds a unique twist.
