Ryou Watari was born with a female body, but he identifies as male. Unfortunately, his tomboyish appearance and transgender status lead to rejection from others. Consequently, Ryou feels trapped within himself with no one to confide in. The only way he subtly expresses himself is through a buzzcut and secret purchases of male clothing.
However, when Jin Satou joins Ryou's class, his life takes a positive turn. Jin is unashamed of his opinions and interests, which inspires Ryou. When they meet in a men's clothing store, Jin suggests creating their own clothing line. Although Ryou is initially scared, he confides in Jin who accepts him for who he is.
Thanks to Jin's friendship and partnership, Ryou sets on a journey to express himself through fashion and change the world one step at a time. Along with other talented outcasts, they embark on creating a brand that authentically reflects who they are.
