Shingo Aoi, a young and passionate soccer enthusiast who once played against Tsubasa in the high school national championships, sets his sights on playing for a top Italian professional team and leaves Japan. However, upon arriving in Italy, Shingo falls victim to a deceitful man who falsely promises him a place on an Italian team. The man absconds with all of Shingo's money after luring him to a shoddy field. Realizing he has been duped, Shingo works tirelessly to retrieve his funds, even taking odd jobs like polishing shoes. Through his unwavering enthusiasm, Shingo captures the attention of a coach from Inter Milan, who signs Shingo as an attacking midfielder for the team.
