Although Jin Young is a high-achieving student with excellent grades, her mindset is somewhat unstable. On the other hand, Hye Jung is a bubbly girl who assists her mother with their "snack shop," a cozy eatery that serves light meals to patrons. Despite attending the same institution, both eventually enrolled in a private independent-study school where they come into contact with Si Hyung, who serves as an educator. Interestingly, Si Hyung and Jin Young resided in the same community when they were younger, but he is taken aback by how aloof Jin Young has become.
