Freshman Tomoe Tatsumi is a genius, having gained admission to a prestigious private college in Tokyo. As a result, he is now occupying an exquisite apartment that costs significantly less than what most people would pay for a single room. The reason for this is Mitsugu Kurokawa, a white-collar worker who appears to be nothing less than a good-hearted Samaritan. However, there seems to be an ulterior motive behind his generosity - he wants to love, honor, and cherish Tomoe for the rest of his life, a prospect that might be cut short by Tomoe's hostile and homophobic older brother, Souichi.
