Set in the dawn of the Tang dynasty, unknown to the people of the thriving and peaceful city of Chang An, Duan Mu Ming De, a skillful demon fox and owner of the largest brothel, lurks within. Bai Yu Mu, a male onmyouji from a family of expert demon slayers, is sent to live in this demon-infested home. There, he meets a seductive fox, a cold wolf, a prickly crow, a humble hedgehog, and a deceitful weasel. Meanwhile, unrest simmers in the shadows of Chang An, which never sleeps, with secret plots underlying nightly fires. An additional threat to the prosperous city comes from the Anshi Rebellion, which could tear Chang An apart.
