After being trapped beneath a collapsed building for two weeks, only four out of nine college students survive and are able to speak. The remaining bodies are found brutally mutilated, leading the police to investigate a potential homicide. Detectives Jeongdo Kwon and Yeongchae Shin work with neuropsychiatrist Dr. Yeongwha Ju to sort through witness statements and evidence in order to uncover the truth. However, with all witnesses being potential suspects, solving this locked-room murder case proves to be a difficult task.
