During the 17th century, Yun Nan fell under the complete domination of Wu San Gui, who enlisted the aid of a mysterious individual to seize control of the Mu Wang Palace. Tragically, the palace was completely destroyed, and only the youthful Jing Xiu Ming survived, saved by Ling Le Sui, a disciple of the renowned Yunyou healer. Regrettably, Jing Xiu Ming was struck with a madness-inducing illness which compelled him to accompany Ling Le Sui on a quest to uncover the perpetrator of his village's slaughter and find a remedy for his affliction.
