Nanaki Shunsuke experiences strange occurrences after being hit by a car. Ao, a fellow youth, informs Nanaki that he has been transmitting his telepathic messages to him and that the accident has unlocked supernatural abilities within him. Nanaki reluctantly agrees to team up with Ao at LOCK, The Paranormal Investigations Agency, where they investigate supernatural phenomena. Despite having erratic powers and Ao's animosity towards him, Nanaki perseveres at LOCK and gradually learns to find common ground with Ao. In the one-shot for Volume 3, "Divine: Bokura wa Hikari wo Mita," they discover a new case to tackle.
