Koichi, a young man struggling to make ends meet, aspires for a simple and serene life. Despite working two jobs and lacking wealth, he finds contentment in his current situation. On one rainy day after finishing his shift at the convenience store, Koichi encounters Reiji, a regular but unfriendly customer, attempting to rescue an abandoned kitten.
