In the demon-infested land of Jinyeok, an infant named Ryujin is born. While passing by, a wandering exorcist cautions of the potential danger of fire upon seeing the child. Ryujin's life is plagued by malevolent spirits who cause chaos and take away everything he holds dear. When his home is destroyed by flames, the exorcist returns, advising Ryujin to travel to the Exorcism Academy to learn how to combat the tormenting demons. However, during his journey, he meets the mysterious Imae, and their destinies become entwined, unyielding and intense.
