After his mother's passing, Kuro Takagi enrolls in Yotsuji Private High School, which is owned by his father. But this is no ordinary institution - its strict policy forbids students from lingering on campus after dark. Kuro and his classmates learn this the hard way on day one when they recklessly violate this rule and are attacked by a horde of undead faculty. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg as Kuro eventually uncovers his own ties to the living dead and his sleeping zombie powers. The ensuing action and comedy in this shadowy yet entertaining tale truly kicks off once Kuro taps into his newfound abilities.
