In May of 1945, while the Soviet Union advanced towards Berlin, a covert assembly of sorcerers and madmen conducted a dreadful ceremony, unconcerned with the fate of the Reich. To them, the countless lives lost in the battle were the ideal offerings for their spell. Following the war, they vanished into obscurity, surfacing only in hearsay. They say that one day they will return, and when they do, the world will meet its end. Beware these fiends in human guise. Beware the Longinus Dreizehn Orden.
Fast forward to modern-day Japan. After two months of recuperating from injuries acquired in a brutal altercation with his friend Shiro, Fujii Ren is discharged from the hospital in time for the approaching Yuletide season. He attempts to rebuild his life while holding on to the glimmers of hope left behind. But his endeavors are quickly disrupted when the knights of the LDO resurface and unleash the apocalypse at his doorstep. Will Ren be able to defend what he holds dear from the inhuman power of the Longinus Dreizehn Orden, even if it requires wielding their same demonic strength?
