Tachibana spends her summer working at a beach cafe and enjoying walks on the sand with her trusty dog. However, her peaceful routine is disrupted when her friend Ippei loses a surfing competition to a stranger, who happens to be Tachibana's former flame, Arikawa. He left four years ago to go to America, leaving Tachibana with a broken heart. Despite his return, Arikawa mistakenly believes Tachibana no longer has feelings for him. Before they can clear up any misunderstandings, Ippei dares Arikawa to another surfing competition, even though there's a dangerous hurricane on the horizon. Tachibana must face the choice between love and friendship once again.
