In the year 2718 according to the Imperial Calendar, ZIPANG (Japan) was devastated in a colossal war against the Majinki - formidable creatures that were part-beast, part-machine. This conflict brought about much harm and corruption to the people, leaving them hopeless for the future and struggling to endure each day. Human casualties amounted to a staggering 70%, but hope prevailed in the form of the seven members of the XILE Tribe, who emerged as saviours of the remaining populace.
Fast forward 500 years to 3218. The shadows of the dreadful Majinki have returned and threaten to wreak havoc once more.
