After receiving an enigmatic plea, Wendy Marvell and her trusty feline partner, Charles, venture to Nanalu Village only to find that their seeker is nowhere in sight. However, Wendy strikes up a bond with Yoshino- the solitary mage in town who happens to share her age- and discovers that the village is gradually declining due to a curse allegedly issued from a dragon who passed away. Reliant on limited resources, Wendy and Charles pledge to help Yoshino save Nanalu Village.
In "Fairy Tail: Blue Mistral," Wendy and Charles waste no time setting out on missions after becoming guild members. Wendy faces various adversities such as a ghostly dragon and a compound burdened with a curse as she seeks to prove her worth as a member of Fairy Tail.
