Despite being forbidden from indulging in worldly pleasures, the oracle Sirius from the Kajyu Temple embarks on a romance with King Kouen of the Madian Kingdom. Devastated by the rejection of his love interest, Nadeen, the King's bodyguard, feels ashamed and hopeless.
As Yamizuki's troops invade the capital city of Madeel, King Kouen valiantly sacrifices his life to protect Sirius. Tormented by his guilt and helplessness, Sirius seeks to acquire more power, thereby putting himself in harm's way.
