Sayama Takahiro, an easygoing high school student, found himself suddenly transported to a fantasy world that bore a striking resemblance to a certain virtual reality game. Despite initially wanting nothing more than to return home, he eventually succumbed to the allure of his new surroundings and established "Free Life," a small business aimed at fulfilling the requests of its clientele. Alongside his diligent assistant Yumiel, Sayama embarks on a variety of odd jobs - although he secretly wishes someone would hire him to sleep in until midday.
