Mitsuhashi and Itou went missing 25 years ago on the night of their high school graduation, leaving Sagawa behind. Now in his forties, Sagawa has given up on his dreams and works a dead-end job. When he discovers that his colleague, Miyabi, is being mistreated by her sibling, Sagawa attempts to emulate his vanished friends by intervening. His efforts are met with disastrous consequences that nearly cost him his life. With no other options left, Sagawa desperately begs for salvation, and miraculously, Mitsuhashi and Itou appear, looking as young as they did when they vanished all those years ago.
