Keita Itou, a boy with no exceptional traits besides his extraordinary luck, unexpectedly receives an acceptance letter from the prestigious all-boys Bell Liberty Academy, also known as BL Academy. Intrigued by its prestigious reputation, he decides to enroll. However, upon his arrival, he gets into a bizarre traffic accident. Though fortunately, no one is injured, it captures the attention of both the Student Council's head, Tetsuya Niwa (known as the king), and the Budget Council's leader, Kaoru Saiyonji (known as the queen).
Keita endeavors to uncover the reason behind his invitation to such an illustrious institution, strive to find his place amongst the brilliant and attractive young men, and make an effort to win the school-wide contest that will allow him permanent admission to BL Academy. In his journey, he forms intimate relationships with the other charming characters, such as the cunning Naruse, the tennis club captain; the pensive Shinomiya, the archery club leader; the compassionate Iwai, the art club leader; the energetic Taki, a cyclist; the cold and calculated Nakajima, the Student Council's Vice President; the computer programming genius, Shichijo; the child-like instructor, Umino, and the friendly yet enigmatic schoolmate, Kazuki Endou.
Will Keita succeed in overcoming all the obstacles, including his own self-doubt, to win the competition? Moreover, will he succeed in winning the heart of the King (Niwa)?
