After a horrific accident, Jeongyun wakes up to discover that she has transformed into Lecian Fucernien, a character from a clichéd romantic fantasy novel. This should be a dream come true, but it quickly becomes a nightmare for her. Despite her disappointment, Jeongyun adjusts to her new life and tries to make the best of it. Unfortunately, Lecian's happy ending is tainted by tragedy as she has to sacrifice herself to attain it.
Jeongyun faces a daunting list of tasks, including stopping her cruel new father's treacherous schemes, avoiding an arranged marriage to the heir, and evading a mysterious duke who's following her. Can Jeongyun come to terms with her new fate, adapt to life as Lecian, and avoid a second death?
