Gion, commonly referred to as the capital of Japan, has witnessed an upsurge in its prosperity thanks to the enigmatic power known as the "divine power". This power endows young maidens with unparalleled strength and transforms them into demi-human servants of the deity. The promising ones amongst them become "Onmyou" and pledge their allegiance to fight against evil, whilst those who lose control over their powers metamorphose into Orochi, destined to wreck havoc and invite misery. Up until now, there seemed to be no hope for Orochi's victims as they were considered irredeemable. However, a young man named Gion intervened and saved one of the victims. Will he gather enough courage to defeat the Orochi and halt their tyrannical rule?
