Amidst the harsh and unforgiving streets of Tokyo, a multitude of Stray Cats scavenge and struggle to survive. Among them is Nanao, forced to acclimate to the brutish conditions after a catastrophic incident forced him out of his home. Placing all his trust in fellow feral Machi, Nanao attempts to persist in a place where resources are scarce. However, with the unexpected kindness of a few generous souls who provide sustenance to the strays, Nanao begins to open up and develop a bond with them. These humans, a pair of siblings who run a public bath, are also dealing with unresolved traumas of their own.
