On July 28th, 2061, Raiji's day took a turn for the worse when he was falsely accused of groping someone on public transport. Later that evening, he met with his friends, Yuma and Osamu, to observe the Halley's Comet sighting. However, the anticipated comet appearance was brought forward by a few hours and what appeared in the sky was not the ordinary sight. A blinding flash of light replaced the comet as Raiji and his friends found themselves in an alternate dimension where strange, oversized mushrooms and grotesque faces had surfaced in place of people. Trapped in a hostile and surreal environment, Raiji, Yuma, and Osamu must face both human and monstrous adversaries.
