The year is 2038, and a group of scavengers venturing into a forbidden island discover an industrial complex hiding a treasure worth a fortune - rare Texmexium. Unfortunately, the complex is heavily guarded by advanced automated defenses, and soon the scavengers fall one by one to the machines. Only the group's mechanic Brooklyn survives, and things take a surprising turn when he stumbles upon a stranded Texas Air Ranger and two kids hiding in the rubble.
The unlikely team soon realizes they must band together to destroy the dangerous Kyron-5 computer and secure a way out of the complex to warn humanity. Brooklyn finds a GUNHED combat robot left behind from a previous mission, and with hard work, restores it to functional use. Meanwhile, one of Brooklyn's comrades, Babe, has been turned into a bio-droid and is hot on the heels of Sergeant Nim and the stolen Texmexium.
In the mission to save everyone and take down Kyron-5, Brooklyn must overcome his fear of flying to pilot the GUNHED all the way up to the complex's tower. But there's one last obstacle in their way: the robotic Aerobot, Kyron-5's ultimate defense.
