A story from heaven that's been passed down for ages tells of six rulers who each had a distinct role to play in maintaining balance in the world. The Ruler of Darkness could create and destroy at will, while the Ruler of Light wove and cast light upon the Earth. The Ruler of Flames was responsible for the eternal flames, while the Ruler of Water created alcohol and watered the Earth. The Ruler of the Earth tilled the fields to fertilize everything, and the Ruler of the Wind played the flute to summon the gusts.
Although each of these rulers wielded immense power, they couldn't manage everything alone, so they had countless spirits serving them. The most gifted of these spirits became the rulers' cherished offspring. This is the story of GYON-WOO, son of the Ruler of the Wind, and JIK-NYU, daughter of the Ruler of Light.
