Despite being in high school, Shota has been dealing with hair loss for a couple of years. He fears confiding in his family, best friend Sachio, and love interest Shinohara Ami, as he worries they may find out his secret. However, when the fumbling science teacher Mai approaches him and proposes a solution, Shota is hesitant at first but ultimately reaches out to Mai when his hair loss worsens.
