In the district of Higashiyama in Kyoto, there exist two lodging houses tucked away within a narrow alley that has earned the moniker of the "outcast alleyway." Within its confines, there are only two inhabitants. The first, a female tenant and the landlord's daughter, is determined to persuade her fellow tenant to join her in her goal of attracting more individuals to dwell there who have been shunned by society.
