Kouichi Tanaka, a college student hailing from an impoverished family, faces a challenge in the form of disapproval from the wealthy Ayase family. The latter disapproves of Kouichi's relationship with Ayase Shion, his childhood friend and the Ayase family's daughter. Can the couple surmount the obstacles and stay together?
