Chimera, a type of self-sustaining machinery, has been invented by Professor Tsukise within a fictional realm. However, just before making them available to society, he confronts ethical dilemmas. He questions whether it is ethical to allow the general public to access Chimera and, more importantly, what fate awaits his own creation, Kusanagi.
