Chii and her spouse appear to be a conventional, happy couple, except for one distinguishing detail: Chii was born male. Chii shares her own journey of grappling with gender dysphoria while growing up and ultimately deciding to transition in her early adult years. Soon after starting her transition, Chii meets someone who is immediately taken with her. Despite being caught off guard when Chii reveals her past as a man, this person remains interested in her. As Chii continues with her transition, her partner supports her every step of the way, and their devotion leads to their eventual marriage once Chii's transition is complete.
