Mizuki, a Japanese-American, successfully enrolls in one of Japan's premier high schools, but with a twist: she's enrolled in an all-boys school to be closer to her idol, Izumi Sano, a high-jumper. To evade detection, Mizuki poses as a boy. Destiny pushes them even closer as they not only become classmates, but roommates as well. Mizuki faces challenges of keeping her true identity concealed in the classroom, locker room, and even in her own bedroom. Her presence leads to confusion among her peers and even the school doctor, who begin to question their own sexual orientation.
