Kousaka-sensei adheres strictly to the principles of piano instruction and employs the Hanon technique to teach his pupils. Tsukishima Shou is one of his students, but he desires to cease his lessons. As he is dropped off by his older sibling, Ryou, he wishes that Kousaka-sensei would not be as rigorous with his brother. A disagreement arises between Ryou and Kousaka-sensei, and in an effort to bolster his brother's abilities, Shou brags about Ryou's superiority over Kousaka-sensei. This statement leaves Kousaka-sensei utterly stunned, as he encounters someone he never expected to see again.
