Even though Shotaro graduated from K University with top honors, he now considers himself a NEET and relies on his parents' financial support while he spends his days drinking. Unfortunately, his situation is compounded by the fact that all of his childhood friends, who were once known for their individuality and strong personalities, have now revealed themselves to be youkai. With no human friends and no job prospects, Shotaro finds himself in a bizarre and often stressful situation, attempting to manage his idiosyncratic anxieties and work alongside his diligent yet peculiar youkai companions.
