Due to her father's job, Maruko Juri has attended various schools throughout her elementary years. This has limited her chance to create many enduring memories with others, save for A-kun and B-kun, two boys she fondly admires. A-kun, in particular, left an indelible impression on her heart after vowing to propose seven years into the future, moments before she parted ways.
Now a high school student who has returned to the city where she met the boys, Juri yearns to see them again while being careful not to become too attached. Unfortunately, during her first day of classes, a boy unexpectedly rushes in, hugs her in front of the entire class, and asks her out.
