Morimoto, a college student, unexpectedly meets his former teacher, Jinno. Sharing a meal together, Jinno is impressed by Morimoto's exceptional cooking skills, leading them to dine together regularly. Yet, during some of their meals, Morimoto appears melancholic, though Jinno remains ignorant of their past conversation where he had brushed off Morimoto's confession.
