The plot of the manga revolves around Hayabusa, a deity in human form. It all starts with her observing a man devouring croquettes in a park. As soon as he gifts her one, Hayabusa manifests mechanical wings and takes flight. The following day, when the man revisits the scene, the protagonist expresses gratitude and proposes to take him on an airborne tour. To accomplish this, she transforms into a Ki-43 Hayabusa fighter plane.
