As a child, Oto would visit his grandmother during summer breaks. However, being from Tokyo, he lacked companions and often sat alone in the shade. One day, a boy named Sora, two years his senior, approached him and invited him to play with his friends. For Oto, Sora was a savior, but his departure the following summer left Oto wishing he had expressed his true feelings. Many years passed, and Sora's final year of high school has arrived. His sole focus is studying for university exams, and he expects his boisterous best friend to be his only distraction. However, on his first day back, he is surprised to bump into Oto, who professes his undying love for Sora.
